Barbara Theresa Haran Tardieu, 90, went to her Lord and Savior August 30, 2016 in Cupertino, California. She was born in San Francisco on April 15, 1926 to Gregory A. Haran and Leila Mary Koverman. Barbara graduated from Saint Rose Academy and Holy Names College. She later completed graduate work at Stanford. She married Jack Douglas Tardieu in June 1953 and raised eight children; all of whom survive her. She taught school at Brett Heart and Peter Burnett in San Jose. She was devoted Catholic and gave much time to the St Anne Catholic Church teaching children's bible school. She later started the volunteer group to help teachers and students at St. Anne Elementary School. Barb was a strong advocate of education for all children. She help fundraise for the Josephine County Library system. Barb also started a women's group "Cottage Creations" that help women sell their creations and artwork for income. She leaves many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was an energetic, and spirited soul who was a wonderful wife, mother, aunt, and friend. She is sorely going to be missed. A memorial service is planned at the end of October in Cupertino.
