James (Clyde) Butler Sr., 72, passed away Dec 29, at Four Seasons Nursing Home after an extended illness. Services are 12 noon Friday, Colonial Chapel of Vondel L. Smith and Sons Mortuary. Born in Maumee, Ark., he has lived in OKC 20 years, coming from Sentinel, OK, where he had farmed. He retired as a custodian for the OKC Public School System. He was a member of the 50th St. Church of Christ. Survivors include his wife, Wanda of the home, 3 sons, J.C. Jr, Richard and Raymond all of OKC, 2 daughters, Carolyn Lasater of Tuttle, Dorothy Shipley of OKC, 2 brothers; John Harley Butler of Thomas, Doyle Butler of Ninnekah, OK, 3 sisters; Ina Martin of Spencer, Chloe VanVranken of Maud, Lois Hatter of OKC, and 12 grandchildren.
