Alberta Lucille Denham Wheatley, 85, formerly of Ohio, died Nov. 17, 2007, at an Edmonson County nursing home.
The Allianale, Ohio, native was born May 2, 1922. She was a homemaker and Methodist. She was a daughter of the late Claude and Verda Cassiday Denham and wife of the late George N. Wells Sr. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Harry, Shirley and Charles Denham and a sister, Irene Thurman.
Cremation was chosen. There will be no visitation or funeral. Heritage Funeral Services is in charge of the arrangements.
She is survived by two sons, Charles Wells and his wife, Linda, of Sweeden and George N. Wells and his wife, Carol, of Webster; a daughter, Betty Jo Weck and her husband, Edward, of Louisville; nine grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; nine great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
