John W. Holder age 96 of Kingston passed away Thursday, May 24, 2018. He attended Tennessee Chapel Baptist Church. John was a devout Christian and put his faith in Jesus Christ. He was a veteran of World War II serving in the U. S. Army Air Corps. John was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. Preceded in death by his wife, Iva Bohanan Holder; parents, John and Dove Holder; 6 brothers and sisters. He is survived by his children: Victoria Zimmerman of Ft. Collins, CO, Theresa LePlatt of Monte Vista, CO, Pamela Yerke, Sheila Domzal both of St. Clair Shores, MI, Beverly Kuderik of Roseville, MI, John “Joe” Holder, Dawn Weingarten of Lenoir City and Karl Holder all of Paint Rock; 19 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; brothers, George and Abe Holder; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, May 26th at Click Funeral Home in Lenoir City. Funeral services will follow at 4 p.m. with Rev. Jerry Roberts and Rev. Kenny Clinton officiating. Burial will follow in the Tennessee Chapel Cemetery for graveside services. Military honors will be conferred by the Loudon Co. Veterans Honor Guard.
