Samuel J. LaBue, Age 82 of Behringer Highway, DuBois, PA died Tuesday, April 17, 2007 at his residence.

Born on February 4, 1925 in DuBois, PA he was the son of the late Joseph G. and Pietrina (Barber) LaBue.

On October 28, 1950 he married Frances "Fran" (Nocerini) LaBue. She survives.

He was the owner/operator of LaBue Printing in DuBois for 25 years.

He was a veteran of the United States Army having served in World War II.

He was a member of St. Catherine of Siena Roman Catholic Church, and the Sons of Italy in Brockway. He was an avid sports fan and enjoyed bowling. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.
He is survived by 2 sons (Craig G. LaBue and Dr. Brad A. LaBue, both of DuBois, PA) a sister Phyllis Dills of Ridgway, PA) and 5 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister (Jenny Golla) and a grandson (Bret LaBue.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 19, 2007 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. from the Goble-Baronick Funeral Home.

A ritual service will be conducted on Friday, April 19, 2007 at 9:15 a.m. from the funeral home by the members of the DuBois Area Honor Guard.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, April 20, 2007 at 10 a.m. from St. Catherine of Siena Roman Catholic Church with Msgr. Richard Siefer as celebrant.

Burial will follow in Morningside Cemetery where full military honors will be accorded by the DuBois Area Honor Guard.

Memorials may be placed with the DuBois Regional Medical Center Home Health and Hospice, 100 Hospital Ave., DuBois, Pa 15801.
