VANCLEAVE MAN MISSING, COAST GUARD IN SEARCH

The Biloxi station of the US Coast Guard continued to search today in an effort to locate H. Kelly Goff, 44, Vancleave fisherman, who has been missing since Friday afternoon.
Goff was reported to have left Bluff Creek in Vancleave around noon Friday in a flat motor-powered river boat, towing three barges and a skiff, on his way to Graveline wharf, where he was expected to land between five and six o'clock that afternoon.
The Coast Guard began its search Monday afternoon by sending out a PBY search-plane, and a Coast Guard cutter. The plane could find no trace of the missing man and returned to the base in Biloxi, but the cutter located the three barges that Goff had been towing, washed up on shore of Round Island Tuesday morning. However, no trace of Goff, the river boat or the skiff he was towing was found.
