Clark, D.M.
A sad accident occured near Hiwasse Saturday resulting in
the death of D.M. Clark, aged 52, who resided thereabouts
for several years.
J.C. McAtee, a half brother of Mr Clark, who called at this office Monday stated that Mr Clark's team ran away with him on the road from Hiwasse to Tanyard Hollow where
he had lived and threw Mr Clark out, landing him on a rail
fence, mangling his head and body so terribly that he lived but a few hours.
Mr Clark leaves several grown children

Dave Clark, 51 years old, was killed by a runaway team
Saturday night about seven o'clock.
He was found about one mile east of Hiwasse and it is
supposed his team ran away with him and killed him.
Funeral services were held Sunday evening and the remains were buried in Daniel's graveyard west of Hiwasse.
