Joseph Gerald Hahn, 89, of Piqua and formerly of Bradford, passed away Sunday, May 20, 2018 at Upper Valley Medical Center Hospice of Miami County Unit. Joseph was born in Bradford on July 4, 1928 to the late Emmit & Ruth Mary (Miller) Hahn.

He was a graduate of Bradford High School, Class of 1948. He is also a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving during the Korean Conflict. Joseph is a retired carpenter having worked for Magee Bros. Construction for over 30 years. He is also a member of Only Believe Ministries, Botkins.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Leila May (Flory) Hahn; brother, Paul & wife Ruth (Rank) Hahn & brother-in-law, Harold “Pete” Thompson.

Joseph is survived by his son, William Joseph Hahn of Redondo Beach, CA; daughter, Linda & husband, Robert Poock of Williamston, SC; 3 grandchildren, Kate & husband Matt Waddell, Stacie Jo & husband Austin Jeanes & Justin Poock; 3 great-grandsons, Joey Jeanes, Maxx Waddell & Ethan Poock.; sister, Leona Thompson of Bradford; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives & friends.

A memorial service will be held 5 p.m. Thursday, May 24, 2018 at the Bridges-Stocker-Fraley Funeral Home, Covington with Pastor Charlie Doseck officiating.
