Mildred S. Nix March 1,1900 - Oct. 27, 1988

WOODBURN - Mildred S. Nix, 88, died Thursday in Salem.

She was born in Horton, Mich. She came to Woodburn in 1962 from Walla Walla, Wash. She was a retired registered registered nurse. She graduated in 1925 from the Deaconess Hospital, Spokane, Spokane, Wash. She was a member of St. Mark Lutheran Church, Salem.

Survivors include her brothers, Jotham Sackett of Woodburn, Andrew Sackett of Hawaii and Manley Sackett of Spokane; and sister, Nina Dunks of Union City, Mich.

Services will begin at 11 a.m. Monday in Cornwell mortuary. Interment will be in Woodlawn Memorial Park, San Francisco.
