Doris Lee Mitchell Bailey, age 76 of Newton, Texas died on Monday, April 16, 2007 at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont. Graveside service will be held on Wednesday, April 18, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. at Friendship Cemetery in Roganville, Texas. She was born in San Augustine, Texas on March 15, 1931, and she had lived in Newton for several years. Survivors include her daughters, Doris Jean Turner, Donna Medley and Liz Blacksher all of Newton, Texas, her grandchildren, James (Bubba) Bailey, Brian Medley, Garret King, Tyler Medley and Blain Blacksher, her great grandchild, Cameron Bailey and her brothers and sisters, Bobbie Scott, Pat Williams, Marvin Mitchell and Robbie Lee.
