Leila Rose Pedersen, our loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother, returned to her Heavenly Father and beloved family Sept. 30, 2001.

She was born January 11, 1929 in West Jordan, Utah to Martin Benjamin and Edith LaRue Rowsell Petersen.

Leila married Delmar Lamar Pedersen and their marriage was solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Leila graduated from Jordan High School and was very active in the LDS Church; among her many callings she served as Relief Society and Young Women's President. She spent many years caring for her brother, "Unc". Her pride and joy was her award winning yard of beautiful flowers and landscaping. Leila touched many lives through her gifts of ceramic pieces which she lovingly created and shared.

Survivors: husband, Delmar L.; children, Gary (Betty) Pedersen, Vicki (Frank) Malstrom, Craig (Anita) Pedersen, Lisa (Kim) Beglarian; ten grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren; also her loving dog, Sissy Rose. Preceded in death by her parents; one brother; two sisters.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 3, 2001, at 12 Noon in the Midvale 8th LDS Ward Chapel 8350 South Jackson St. (300 W). Friends may call at the church on Wednesday from 10:45-11:45 a.m. Interment, Midvale City Cemetery.
