MRS. HOMER DIXON OF LOWELL TAKEN
Mrs. Homer Dixon, 74, died Friday morning following illness with pneumonia.
Mrs. Dixon was born in Salem Township on September 23, 1864. She was married to Homer Dixon on September 29, 1881, and he survives with five of the eight sons and daughters. They are Ernest Dixon of Lowell, Mrs. Bertha Dutton and Mrs. Gladys Wilson of the family home, Mrs. Josephine Dennis of Lowell and Mrs. Blanche Waller of Waterford. There are 23 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Mrs. Dixon was a member of the Methodist Church.
Funeral services will be held at the Lowell M. E. Church on Sunday at 2 p.m. Rev. Mr. Jacobs of South Olive will officiate. Interment will be made at Greenlawn cemetery at Lowell. The body will remain at the Spies funeral home until the hour for the service.
