Marvin Clayton Fussell, Sr., 90, of Webster, FL, passed away Wednesday, May 16, 2018, at home, surrounded by his loving family. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Webster. Mr. Fussell enjoyed farming, serving as a deacon, being the choir director at his church and teaching Sunday School.
He was a past board member of the Sumter County Farmers Market, and Market Manager. In early years, he served as an Auctioneer for the Farmers Market. He was the announcer at the Webster High School Football games and in his younger years played on the Webster High football team.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Marion Fussell.
He is survived by sons: Marvin Fussell, Jr. (Marsha) of Bushnell, FL; John Fussell (Deah) of Webster, FL; daughters: Mary Sue Camp (Steve) of Webster, FL, Marsha Milton (Hugh) of Jacksonville, FL, Marilyn Booth (Morgan) of Webster, FL; 12 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild; brothers: James Fussell (Carol) of Webster, FL, Robert Fussell (Faye) of Dublin, GA; and caregivers: Michelle Green and Christy Wilson; and his beloved pets: Micky and Wissy.
