Marcella Fay Williams Jackson was one of four children born to J.L. "Bud" and Alma Williams. She was a legal secretary for the Air Force at General Dynamics for several years. She married the love of her life, A.W. "Ted" Jackson, May 15, 1975, and moved to Jack County. Together they made a life in the cattle and oil industry. They had a gospel quartet and traveled to various churches around the country to sing at revivals. After the death of her husband in 1987, she retired and moved back to Hood County to be closer to her family, where she resided at the time of her death. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Melody Allen; her husband, A.W. "Ted" Jackson; her parents, Bud and Alma Williams; and sister, Billie Durant.

Survivors: Daughters, Robin Jackson Ogle and Carol Lancaster, both of Granbury; grandsons, Brady Ogle of Jacksboro and Jeremy Lancaster of Granbury; sister, Alpha Lee Bowden and husband, Jerry; brother, Dean Williams and wife, Barbara; five nieces and nephews; 12 great-nieces and great-nephews; three great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews; and many friends.
