WALTER D. BOVIA

Walter D. Bovia, 79, of rural Randolph, the Township of Mackford, Green Lake County, died at 9:50 a.m. Monday at his home of an apparent heart attack.

He was born Jan. 26, 1890, a son of Daniel and Augusta Gruhlke Bovia, and lived on the farm his entire life. He married Agnes Lenz on Oct. 9, 1946.

Mr. Bovia was a member of the County Line Lutheran Church, Route 2, Markesan, and Modern Woodmen of America.

Survivors are one niece, Mrs. Verna Mumbrue of Markesan; one nephew, Lawrence Evans of Mount Carmel, Ill., and one great-nephew, Lawrence Evans Jr. of Washington, D. C. He was preceded in death by his wife on May 22, 1967, and one sister, Mrs. Louise Evans in 1952.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at County Line Lutheran Church with Pastor L. R. Westphal officiating. Burial will be in Lake Maria Cemetery, Green Lake County.

Friends may call after 3 p.m. Wednesday at Kratz Funeral Home, Fox Lake, and at the church from 11 a.m. Thursday until the time of services.
