Born on April 29, 1867 in Marion County, Ohio to the late Charles and Juliana Gross Hoch, Mrs. Catherine Susanna Campbell, 95, of 404 S. Vine Street, Marion, died at home just after midnight. She had been ill ten days.
She married Frank Thomas Campbell in August 1892 in Marion. A former Marion postmaster, he preceded her in death on Sept. 10, 1938.
The oldest member of Emanuel Lutheran Church, Mrs. Campbell is survived by her son, Carl Thomas Campbell and his wife, Irma; plus a sister, Mrs. Bertha Benzler of Pleasant Township. Besides her parents and husband, two brothers and a sister also preceded her in death.
Burial in Marion Cemetery following service in the Boyd Funeral Home.
