LONDON MILLS - Donald A. Roe, 84, passed away on Sunday, May 13, 2018, at his son's residence in Byron.
He was born March 27, 1934, in Hermon, the son of Delwyn and Edna (Stegall) Roe. He married Wanda Tinder on Sept. 17, 1955. She passed away on March 11, 2004.
Don worked for 37 years at Admiral in Galesburg. He loved spending time on his John Deere mowers and loved spending time with his family.
He is survived by his children, Kathy (Don) Crisp of Abingdon and Don (Christy) Roe of Byron; siblings, Margaret Rountree, Walt Roe, Gerald Roe, and Edward Roe; grandchildren, Jason (Kim) Osborne of Peoria, Lacy (Mike) Cramblet of Canton, Aaron (Carrie) Roe of Crest Hill, and Austin Roe of Ann Arbor, Michigan; and great-grandchildren, Owen, Logan, Landon, and Ryder. He is predeceased by his parents; wife; twin brother, Phil; and infant brother, Robert Lee.
A private family graveside service will be held at a later date. Farrell Holland Gale Funeral Home in Byron is in charge of arrangements. Online condolences may be made at www.farrellhollandgale.com.
