Private Graveside Services were held on January 8, 2018 at the Condon Grove Cemetery in Milburn, Oklahoma. Mr. Harwell passed away on January 3, 2018 at his home in Mannsville, Oklahoma.
Charles Harwell, Jr. was born on May 18, 1939 in Kiefer, Oklahoma to Charles Harwell, Sr. and Julia Belle (Ray) Harwell. He graduated from high school in Sapulpa, Oklahoma and later attended City College in San Fransisco, California. Charles lived in San Fransisco for many years and retired from the police department there. He married Reta Gibson on October 24, 1992 in Tishomingo and they had resided in Mannsville, Oklahoma for several years. Charles enjoyed motorcycle riding and fishing as his hobbies.
He was preceded in death by his parents; three sisters, Shirley, Virginia and Judy and a brother, Jim.
Charles is survived by his wife Reta, of the home; his son, Greg Harwell of Mannsville; his daughter, Cherri Conway of Ardmore, Oklahoma; his sister, Mary Boyd of Tishomingo; three step-sons, Francis Russell of Wapanucka, Oklahoma, Scotty Russell and Larry Russell, both of Tishomingo; nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild; numerous other relatives and friends.
