Funeral services for Elsie Mae Booty, 84 of Tyler are scheduled for Saturday, May 12, 2018 1:00 PM at Jones Valley Church of God in Christ with Rev. Jodie Mack, Jr. eulogist. Interment will be held in Hopewell Valley Cemetery under the direction of Brooks Sterling & Garrett Funeral Directors.

Elsie Mae Stiggers Booty was born December 30, 1933 to the parentage of Elmo Stiggers and Ocie High Stiggers.
She was the oldest girl in the family so she had a caring and nurturing spirit. She took care of all the children in the Jones Valley community and they knew her as the lady at the top of the hill. She was well loved and appreciated. She was a kind and supportive woman of God. She was a member of Jones Valley COGIC.
Elsie was preceded in death by her father and mother, daughter Louise Mack, three brothers and one sister.
Elsie leaves to cherish her memory four grandchildren, Robert Earl Mack, Lydell Mack, Isaac Mack and Nina Mack Taylor. 16 great grandchildren and 10 great-great grandchildren. Sisters Rosie Stiggers Williams, Sonja Everett, Jacqueline Trigg and Doris Crockett. Brothers Paul Adkins, Elmo Stiggers, Jr., Don Stiggers, Gary Stiggers and Sammy Stiggers.
