William Albert Jones was born February 17, 1917 to William Edward and Florence (Hall) Jones. He passed away on the evening of May 8, 2018 at the astounding age of 101 years.
He was a self-employed sawmill operator, a member of the National Rifle Association, and pursued many other interests.
Albert wed his beloved sweetheart, Ruth Thomas Kellams, on November 3, 1939. They gave life to 2 sons and 2 daughters.
Albert is preceded in death by his beloved wife, his parents, one son - Jeffrey Jones, a son-in-law - Lloyd Dotson, sisters - Sylvia Ramsey, Sybil Springer & Stella Eicher, and brothers - Ernest and Edward Jones.
He is survived by daughters - Jackie Lou Dotson of Paoli and Judy Elkins (Gordon) of Crystal; a son - Gary Jones (Betty) of Paoli; daughter-in-law Kathy Jones of Paoli; brother - Elvet Jones of Evansville; 10 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren, and caretakers Rose Baker and Judy Kendall of Paoli.
McAdams Mortuary is handling the arrangements on Friday, May 11, 1:00 PM, with Bro. Ron McClintock officiating. The Visitation will be from 10 AM until the service. Albert's burial will be beside his wife in the Paoli Community Cemetery.
