Springfield - Billy Edward Hicks, 72, of Springfield, died Friday, Aug 4, 2006 at Capitol Care Center. He was born May 19, 1934 in Rosiclare, the son of Oscar and Gracie Dunaway Hicks.
Mr Hicks was a Storeroom Clerk at JC Penney, Co. He was a member of the Salvation Army Church, where he was a member of the Friendship Club and Home League, and volunteered for the Salvation Army. There are no survivors.
