James Estes Brewer entered service 7/17/1942.He served at Selman Field La., Roswell New Mexico,China-Burma-India-Formosa. He was killed in action over occupied China, 11/21/1944.
He was awarded the Purple Heart for his combat related wounds.
James attended N.C.State College and was of the Methodist faith.He is the son of Mr. & Mrs.J.E.Brewer of Clemmons NC.
His wife survives him, Mrs.Frances Brewer of Raleigh NC
