Myrtle Marie Thompson, 88, of El Campo, passed away on May 5, 2018. She was born on July 30, 1929 in Glen Flora to the late Mitchell and Lena Roberts Henderson.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Robert Thompson, Sr., daughters Alice Baylor, Edna Coleman, Mary Hargrove, sons David and Joshua Thompson, Sr., sisters Carie Mitchell, Connie Holmes, Ora Henderson, Lois Jackson, brothers Eddie, Ruben and Mitchell Henderson Jr., and god sister Ruby Cash.
Visitation will be from 10 am - 11 am on Saturday, May 12 at Progressive Baptist Church. Funeral services will start at 11 am at the church with the Pastor James Young officiating. Burial will follow at the Bowden Cemetery in Hungerford.
