Virginia was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, grandmother and great grandmother. She loved to spend time in her yard. Gardening and planting flowers were her passion. She loved to be with her family and her friends. Mrs. Odom loved the Lord and enjoyed attending church services at Calvary Baptist Church with her family.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Archie and Pearline Luce; brother, RL Luce; sister, Betty M. Jones and a grandson, B.J. Odom.
Her survivors include her loving husband of 59 years on June 6th, James M. Odom; son, Ronald C. Odom and wife, Theresa Odom; son, Randy L. Odom and wife, Bonnie Odom; sister, Marie Prothro and husband, Seldon Prothro; sister, Dorothy Warren; sister, Elaine Roooney; sister, Darlene Whittlesey and husband, James Whittlesey; brother, David Luce and wife, Polly Luce; brother, Danny Luce and wife, Evelyn Luce; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends also, survive.
