Floyd was born on April 20, 1929, in Guilford County, North Carolina, to the late Robert Dewey Albright and Mae Wicker Albright.
He was employed for many years by the Carolina Iron and Steel Company in Greensboro from which he retired.
He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. Mr. Albright was a long-time and faithful member of Apple’s Chapel Christian Church.
Graveside services were held on Thursday, May 10, 2018, at Apple’s Chapel Christian Church Cemetery with Pastor Allen Myers officiating.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Albright was preceded in death by sons, Scott Albright and Dale Albright.
Left to mourn his passing are his loving wife, Cassandra Barton Albright; her son, Jeff Albright; his children Susan Gladys and Barry Albright and grandchildren Lindsay, Sara, Matthew, Jonathan, Claire, Barrett and Courtney Abbott, and many friends.
