Orlando "Fuddy" Biondi, 84, formerly of Natrona Heights, Harrison, died Saturday, Oct. 1, 2005, at Hearthstone Assisted Living, Bedford, Texas.

He was born Sept. 24, 1921, in Bannock, Ohio, to the late Attilio and Elena Del Porto Biondi. Prior to moving to Texas one year ago, and living in Natrona Heights for 44 years, he was a resident of Creighton. He lived in Natrona Heights from 1960 to 2004, when he moved to Texas to live near his daughter, son-in-law and family.

He was a World War II Army veteran, serving in battles and campaigns in China and India.

He worked for Pittsburgh Plate Glass Co. in Creighton for 43 years before retiring in 1985.

Mr. Biondi and was a member of Our Lady of the Most Blessed Sacrament Church, Natrona Heights. He enjoyed bowling and especially visiting with his family.

He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Ida Marchi Biondi of Bedford, Texas; two sons, Roger Biondi of Creighton, and Roy (Dawn) Biondi of Olathe, Kan.; a daughter, Roberta (Mark) Turner of Colleyville, Texas; five granddaughters, Claire, Olivia and Elise Turner and Elena and Emily Biondi; brothers, Hermano "Scotty" (Barbara) Biondi of New Kensington, and Mario "Nick" (Dolores) Biondi of Frazer; a sister, Bea (Rodger) Gordon of Olympia Fields, Ill.; and nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the PAUL R. AJAK FUNERAL HOME, Creighton.

A blessing service will be at 9:30 a.m. Thursday in the funeral home followed by Christian funeral Mass to be celebrated at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of the Most Blessed Sacrament Church, 1526 Union Ave., Natrona Heights.

Burial will be in Mt. Airy Cemetery, Natrona Heights.
