Funeral services for Pearl Loraine Riggs will be held at 2 p.m., Sunday, May 6, 2018 in the White Oaks Memorial Chapel with Reverend Falis Holloway officiating.

Interment will follow in the Magnolia Cemetery of Beaumont, Texas under the direction of White Oaks Funeral Home, Oakdale.

Pearl, 96, of Glenmora, La. entered eternal rest on Thursday, May 03, 2018 in the Rapides Regional Medical Center. She was born June 16, 1921 in Forest Hill to the union of Leon Strange and Lou Ella (McGee) Strange.

She was a Baptist by faith, worked in the laundry at Camp Claiborne, a loving homemaker, and mother.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Leon and Lou Ella Strange; and her husband, David Allen Riggs, Sr.; six brothers, Jesse Strange, Melvin Strange, Teddy Strange, Jake Strange, Clarence “Couter” Strange, and Frank Strange; six sisters, Maggie McQuire, Beatrice Strother, Elvinna Stange, Infant “Baby” Strange, Lissie Baham, and Ruby Smith.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are: her son, David Allen Riggs, Jr. of Winona, Mississippi.
Visitation will be held in the White Oaks Memorial Chapel on Sunday, May 6, 2018 from 11 a.m. until time of service at 2 p.m. in the chapel.
