Clarence B. Ocker, 93, died Tuesday in Henry County Memorial Hospital. He was a former member and captain of the local police department and had also been associated with the sheriff's department.
Mr. Ocker was a life member of the Elks and Eagles lodges and the Evangelical United Methodist Church. He was active in local business.
Survivors include one daughter, Hilda Harris; and two sons, Richard and Russell. He was predeceased by his wife, Edith, and one son.
