BILOXI --- James Edgar Balthrope, 81, died Friday, April 19, 2002, in Biloxi.
Mr. Balthrope served in the China, Burma, India Theater during in World War II and received four Campaign Ribbons with three Bronze Stars.
Graveside services will be at 11:30 a.m. Thursday in Biloxi National Cemetery, directed by the Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Homes in Biloxi.
The family prefers memorials to Gulf Coast Symphony, 1042 Beach Blvd., Biloxi, MS 39530.
