"He was born Jan. 3, 1912, in Wayne County, a son of William H. and Lillie (Barnard) Barnard. He married Wretha Barnard, who died in 1987.
"Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Bailey Church with the Rev. Ray Phillips officiating. Burial will follow at Bailey Cemetery.
"Friends may call after 6 p.m. today at Richardson Funeral Home in Wayne City and 9 a.m. until the funeral hour Tuesday at the church.
"Mr. Barnard is survived by one son, . . . ; one daughter, . . . ; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
"In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by one brother and one sister."
