Ralph L. Annis, age 97, passed away Thursday, May 3, 2018.
He was a graduate of Joliet Township High School, Class of 1938.
Ralph was a veteran of the United States Army, serving in World War II Army. At the end of World War II, he worked on the rehabilitation of French, Belgian, German and Luxembourg communication equipment.
He retired from Illinois Bell Telephone.
Ralph was a member of the V.F.W. and the Telephone Pioneers.
He is survived by his children, Jeanne Annis of Joliet, Jim (Chris) Annis of Braidwood and Bill Annis of Essex; sister-in-law Helen (Clare) Annis; grandchildren Rob (Dominique) Annis, Lori (Joe) Mack and Abby Weinshenker; great grandchildren, Owen Mack, Kailey Annis and Camden Annis.
Ralph was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy (nee Hamilton) Annis, his daughter, Nancy Annis; his brother, Clare (Helen) Annis and his parents, Ralph G. and Rose (Gensch) Annis.
Funeral Services, Tuesday May 8, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at the Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery.
