Mr. Brassfield was born Nov. 24, 1888, at Sergeant Bluff [IA]. He married Mary Stienhover [sic Steinhofer] in October 1910. He farmed in the Bronson area until three years ago when he moved to Sioux City.
He was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.
Survivors include the widow; two sons, W. E. Brassfield of Bronson and E. N. Brassfield of Salix; a daughter, Mrs. C. M. Hough of Worthington, Minn.; three sisters, Mrs. Eunice Gilmore, both of Sioux City, and Mrs. Lucy Crossup of California; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
The body was taken to Larken Funeral Home.
