According to Texas State Dept of Health Bureau of Vital Statistics~~
M.H.Rumley of 729 N.Houston, Amarillo,Potter Co.,Texas~
Was born 2 June 1869 in Missouri & died 1 July 1934~~and buried in Llano Cemetery, Amarillo,Texas.~~Death Record says he was buried 3 July 1934.
He was 65 yrs. of age.~~
His wife according to the 1930 census is listed as Annie born 1887.~~ Do not know if the death record made a mistake & the census or the gravestone maker?~~
Also, his last name was spelled Rumbley until 1920.~~
If this is indeed Marion H. Rumbley born 2 June 1869 of Missouri, then Oklahoma, then New Mexico, then Texas.
I just can not figure out how the death record for the year of his birth is so very different then what is on the gravestone?
If you have any thoughts you could share, I would appreciate it.
