Obituary from "Castle Rock Record Journal" of August 4, 1922

"Lars M. Anderson was born in the central part of Sweden September 23, 1849.
When about 30 years of age he and his family emigrated to the United States, their destination being Columbus, Kansas, where he and the family remained until
the year of 1881, when they moved further west and settled in Douglas county, Colorado. where they have maintained their home ever since.

Mr Anderson passed away Sunday, July 30, 1922. He had been in ill health for the past several years, and his death was not unexpected.

Funeral services will be conducted at the Castle Rock Mortuary chapel Sunday, August 6th at the hour of 2:00 o'clock p.m.

The sympathy of all is extended to the bereaved relatives."


This is the father of Elmer Anderson. His other children were Ellen Mary Anderson Johnson (1889-1968); Charles Ernest Anderson (not at Cedar Hill) and Jennie S. Anderson Petersen (1879-1968).
