Florence died Tuesday, April 3, 2007 at Bethesda Home of Aberdeen.

Florence Rueb was born March 22, 1922, to Jacob F. and Magdalena (Lechner) Rueb on a farm in McPherson County. She grew up on the farm and later worked for households in the Aberdeen area.
Florence married Edmund A. Albrecht on August 19th, 1941. They began farming with his Dad near Hosmer until they made their home on a farm near Leola. They later moved into Leola and managed a cream station. In 1955, they moved to Oakes, ND, where they owned a cream station. In 1964, they moved to Eureka, where they owned and operated the Coast-to-Coast Store until retiring in 1980. In 1992, they moved to Parkside Retirement Community in Aberdeen. Edmund died on January 10, 2000 in Aberdeen. In 2004, she moved into Bethesda Home of Aberdeen.
Florence enjoyed baking and cooking, gardening, camping, playing games and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She won many blue ribbons at flower shows for her flower entries. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.
Grateful for having shared her life are her son, Ed Donnie (Sharon) Albrecht of Fargo, ND; daughter, Peggy (David) Dohn of Grand Forks, ND; three sisters, Lavina Albrecht of Leola; Erline Fisher of Madison, WI; and Adeline Lochner of Fountain Hills, AZ and brother, Wesley Rueb of Aberdeen, SD; nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Edmund; two sons, Jeffrey and Larry, one sister and seven brothers.
