A veteran of World War I, Becton had made his home in Los Angeles since 1944. Military services will be held at the graveside at Hasley Cemetery in West Monroe where burial will take place.
Becton is survived by his wife, Mrs. Blanche Becton of Los Angeles; by one son, Harold Williamson, Baton Rouge; by four brothers, Earl Becton, Monroe, B. W. Becton, West Monroe; J. M. Becton, Little Rock, Ark.; W. T. Becton, Dyer, Tenn., and by one sister, Mrs. Sidney Flynn of Monroe.
