He graduated from Harvard in 1909, and the Colorado School of Mines in 1911, and was a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers and Harvard Engineering Society.
He leaves his wife, Ida (Waterman); two sons, Alfred S. of Boston and Richard M. of Fords, N.J. and two daughters, Dorothy M. Shapiro of Chestnut Hill, Arlene M. Silverman of Chelmsford, and a brother, Leo.
Services were held at Stanetsky memorial chapel, Brookline. Rabbi Manuel Saltzman of Cong. Kehilath Israel officiated. Internment was in Wakefield.
