Mrs. Della Laycook Called By Death At Age Of 79 Years

Mrs. Della Laycook, aged 79, long time resident of the Union Grove Community, died at a Morrilton Hospital Thursday, December 19, 1957. She was the widow of Will T. Laycook and the daughter of the late M.G. and Minnie Greenlee. She was a member of the Union Grove Free Will Baptist Church.

She is survived by two sons. Omer and Ira Laycook of Atkins; three daughters, Mrs. Bessie Cooksey of Atkins. Mrs. Emmett Loyd of Morrilton and Glayds Taylor of Portersville, Calif.: also a sister. Mrs. Ann Smith of Okemah, Okla., and 15 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.

Funeral services were conducted in Hopewell Baptist Church on Sunday, December 22 by Rev. Tommy Brashear, assisted by Rev. Dewey Kinder and Rev. Henry Hill. Burial was in Oakland Cemetery by Lemley Funeral directors.

Pallbearers were Frank English, Bonner Tyler, Ray Ferguson, Fred Haralson, Ralph Haralson and Thurman Haralson.
