She was employed for many years as a registered nurse at Sisters Hospital in Waterville, and at St. Elizabeth's Medical Center in Brighton, Mass.
She is survived by her loving husband, Emery Richmond (married 26 May 1979); her stepson, Emery Wayne Richmond; two stepdaughters, Marion E. Kibbe and Kimberly A. Caouette; two half-brothers, Arthur A. Roy and Joseph R. Roy; one stepbrother, Perley A. Roy; one stepsister, Jacqueline Roy Cote; also by eight grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
There will be no public visitation. Committal prayers and burial will be held at 10 a.m, Monday, April 30, 2018, at St. Francis Catholic Cemetery, Grove Street, Waterville. Arrangements are under the direction and care of Gallant Funeral Home, 10 Elm St., Waterville. (Central Maine Newspapers 4/28/2018)
