Henry E. Dill Sr., 89, of Connellsville, passed away April 10, 2007, in Shadyside Hospital, Pittsburgh. He was born Dec. 18, 1917, in Connellsville, a son of the late George and Louise Schlinger Dill. He was Protestant by faith. He was a graduate of Connellsville High School and was a World War II U.S. Army veteran. Prior to his retirement in 1979, Henry was employed as a press operator for the Anchor Hocking Cap Plant. He is survived by his loving children, Peggy Micklus and husband Barry, Rosanne Addis and husband Richard, both of Connellsville, Robert Dill and wife Connie, of Tennessee, and Henry Dill Jr. and wife Kathy, of Ruffsdale; five grandchildren, Richard Jr. and Valerie Addis, Bob, Joshua and Nikki Dill; three great-grandchildren; a brother, Jules Dill and wife Loretta; a sister, Marlene Queer; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Mary Margaret Minsterman Dill; an infant son, three sisters, Margaret, Francis and Agnes; a brother, Robert; and an infant twin brother and sister. Friends will be received in the PAUL G. FINK FUNERAL HOME INC., 418 N. Pittsburgh St., Connellsville, from 2 to 4 and 6 until 8 p.m. Friday, the hour of the funeral service. Private interment will be held in St. Joseph Cemetery, Connellsville.
