A Celebration of Life service for Betty Ann Williams, 82 of Corinth, Mississippi, will be held Friday, April 27, 2018, at 11:00 A M at Magnolia Funeral Home Chapel of Memories with interment to follow at Lone Oak Baptist Church Cemetery. Bro. Warren Jones will officiate the service.

Visitation will be Thursday, April 26, 2018, from 5:00 P M to 8:00 P M and Friday, April 27, 2018, from 10:00 A M until service time at Magnolia Funeral Home.

Mrs. Williams passed away Tuesday, April 24, 2018, at her residence in Corinth, Mississippi. She was born January 9, 1936, in Wayne County, Tennessee, to Alton Ray Smith and Fannie Mae Sewell Smith. She retired from Bassett Furniture after several years of service and was of the Protestant faith. She graduated from Corinth High School in 1954.

Betty is survived by her two sons, Scotty Glidewell and wife Brenda of Kossuth, MS and Michael Glidewell of Corinth, MS; six grandchildren, Megan Glidewell, Briley Glidewell, Andy Glidewell (Brittany), Ben Glidewell (Leslie), Joe Paul Glidewell (Carly) and Matt Glidewell; her brothers, William E. Smith (Linda) of Mesa, Arizona and Raymond Smith (Cheryl) of Grand Junction, TN; special family, Dorothy Hodum and Teresa Downs; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband of eleven years, James R. Williams; her father, Alton R. Smith; her mother, Fannie Mae Sewell Smith and her sister, Frances Greer.

Her grandchildren will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Don Glidewell, Trevor Glidewell and Wade Downs.

Magnolia Funeral Home has been honored to serve the family of Mrs. Betty Ann Williams.
