Billy W. Gilland, Sr., of Hayden, AL., passed away on April 24, 2018 at the age of 69. Mr. Gilland served in the United States Army as a Sergeant during the Vietnam War. He worked in the maintenance department at Amerex.
He is preceded in death by parents, William and Ruth Gilliland; brothers, Joe, Jim, Delmer, Bud and Jack Gilliland; sister, Ruby Henderson.
He is survived by his sons, grandchildren, great grandson, brother, sisters.
Funeral services were April 27, 2018 from the Chapel of Lemley Funeral Home with a graveside service from the Alabama National Cemetery.
