Alvira Huff was born in Kennebunkport (Cape Porpoise) Maine in 1834. She is the daughter of James B. Huff and Hannah Fletcher. She married Oliver Cilley (Sillea) on 6 Oct 1854 in Saco Maine. They had a son John J. Cilley who was born in Saco on 17 May 1857. The family moved to Biddeford in the early 1860s. Oliver Cilley died in 13 June 1871 and is also buried in Laurel Hill Cemetery with a GAR headstone from his Civil War service. Alvira was married to John Hone for a brief period.
