Birth year is circa. I can NOT find Robert in any censuses, but there is a family photo of him floating about which I will upload here to his memorial. I feel that he COULD be the same person as John LaRue, born 1877, appearing in the 1880 census with his parents and siblings. Then John falls off the face of the Earth.

I wonder if his name was possibly John Robert LaRue. I wonder if he died at the turn of the century, shortly after the photo was probably taken. If so - he would most definitely be buried here in Smith Mills Cemetery.
