Clayton Ronald Adair, aged 79, of Belding, passed away June 4th 2006 in Grand Rapids. He was born May 26, 1927 in Belding the son of Max and Mildred (Krouse) Adair. He married Frieda M. Roschlau May 29, 1964.

Clayton was a Corporal in the Army who served during the Korean War. He received the Bronze Star and Purple Heart for his service. He was a member of Sheridan VFW.

Clayton is survived by his loving wife of 42 years Frieda M. Adair of Belding; son, Ronald Adair of Greenville; daughter, Vickie Ramirez of Ionia; brothers, Robert and Genevieve Adair Sr. of Ionia, Alvin and Bonnie Adair of Greenville, Gerald and Anna Adair Sr. of Florida, Kenneth and Esther Adair of Ionia; sisters Bonnie Blackmer of Ionia, Mary and Robert Lindsley of Florida; sister-in-law Gayann Adair of Ionia; five grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; Max and Mildred; sister, Shirley; brother, Raymond; daughter-in-law, Wendy Adair and brother-in-law Richard.

Funeral services will be held 1 p.m., Wednesday at Shiloh Community Church with Rev. Kenneth Harger officiating. The family will receive friends and relatives Tuesday 6 to 8 p.m. at Lake Funeral Home in Ionia. Anyone wishing may make memorial contributions in Clayton's name to his family.
