The 1920 Census shows that Wild Flower was a lodger living with Carl and Christina Johnson in Pinora Township, Michigan at the age of 6 years.

The 1930 Census shows that Wild Flower was living with her adopted parents, Oscar and Mathilda Noreen in Pinora Township, Michigan.

WILD FLOWER VANSICKLE
Buffalo, Minn. - Wild Flower VanSickle passed away peacefully on Friday, July 4, 2014, at her residence in Buffalo, Minn.

She was born Sept. 19, 1913, as Anna Vera Mae Lind in rural Chase.

She is survived by her sole child, Keith L. VanSickle, of Reed City; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Jerald VanSickle, as well as per parents and five siblings.

An extraordinary lifetime of global travel, art and mission work provided Wild Flower with a unique ability to connect with multi-generational and diverse individuals. Her cremated remains will rest at their final home in Woodland Cemetery in Reed City. At her request, no memorial service was held. But, in her words, she passes along a hearty, "Aloha!"
