The angel death visited the Dry Creek community Thursday night at 8:25 o'clock and called away one of the prominent citizens, James A. Cantley, 68 years of age.
He leaves to mourn his death his widow, Mrs. Celia Cantley, four sons, Okey, of Mont Coal, James, jr., of Edwight; Hubert and Ovet, of Dry Creek; two daughters, Mrs. Lacy Pettry and Mrs. Nelson Cooper, both of Dry Creek, thirteen grandchildren and one great grand child, as well as numerous other relatives and a host of friends.
Interment was made at the family cemetery near Dry Creek, Saturday afternoon, with Rev. S. C. Campbell, of Dry Creek in charge.
