Son of thee late Robert M. Kellogg and Evelyn P. Waigand Kellogg, he was the widower of Elizabeth Aline Gillaspie Kellogg. Additionally, he was preceded in death a granddaughter, Serene Jones, and by three siblings, Robert Leroy Kellogg, Thelma Heidel and Juanita Herpst. His funeral was held at the Allegan Chapel of Gorden Funeral Residence on April 12, 2018, with The Rev. Cyril Page officiating. He was survived by three daughters; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and an extended family of relatives and friends. He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps (Korea) losing a leg to a landmine on May 4, 1954.
