Marion M Hart, 67, a well-known Attorney at Benton, died at 6:30pm Tuesday in Franklin County Hospital in Benton following a long illness. Burial in Masonic and IOOF Cemetery, Benton.
Mr Hart, an associate of the Hart and Hart Law Office in Benton, served as States Attorney of Franklin County from 1926 thru 1936. He was a member of the Illinois State and Bar Association with which he had served as President in Franklin County.
He was born in Franklin County the son of W H and Mary Ward (East) Hart.
He was married to Constance Skinner, who survives.
He is also survived by two sons, RIchard O and James O Hart, both of Benton.

Two sisters, Mrs Elizabeth Hart of Palm Beach, FL and Mrs H B Tabor of Belleville
Mr Hart was a Veteran of World War l. He was a member of the American Legion of Benton, with which he had served as a Commander. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Benton and the4 Ainad Temple Shriners of East St Louis.
