Obituary of Linda Broussard Davis
Linda Broussard Davis, age 68, of D’Iberville, passed away on Thursday, April 19, 2018.

Linda was the daughter of Frank and Marguerite Richard Broussard of Biloxi, MS. She was married to her husband of 46 years, Paul H. Davis. She was preceded in death by her parents; her sons, Michael and Glenn Davis; and her siblings, Frank Broussard, Jr., Richard Broussard and Dolly Worsham.

She is survived by her husband; son, Paul H. Davis, Jr. (Traci); three nephews, Frank Broussard III, Eddie Malone and D.J. Worsham; two granddaughters, Jordan and Emma Davis; along with many nieces and nephews who she treated as her own. She is also survived by her sisters, Kathy Malone and Iris Miller; and brother, A.J. Broussard.

Linda was the previous owner and operator of D’Iberville Memorial Park. She was a woman of many talents. She was the founding “Mother of the City D’Iberville” along with the founding Fathers. Linda was the first woman Councilperson of D’Iberville, first woman President of the MS Cemetery Association and the first woman to serve on the Harrison County School Board. She also served on the D’Iberville Water and Sewer Board and the D’Iberville Port Commission. She was a founding member for Les Bon Ami Mardi Gras Club, the North Bay Mardi Gras Association. She was a member of the D’Iberville Historical Society, D’Iberville Community Club and a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.

Linda was a dedicated public servant and her goal was to preform to her best ability on projects assigned. Linda made it a mission in her life to take care of all of those she loved regardless of the need or concern. She spoke her mind and you knew her position on an issue. She will be loved and missed by all whom knew her.

In lieu of flowers, please donate to St. Jude Hospital in her honor. Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 22, 2018 at the Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home from 5-8pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, April 23, 2018 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church at 11am. Interment will follow at D’Iberville Memorial Park.
